Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy is for residents of Washington, Nevada and other US states with consumer health data laws.

Consumer health data we collect, and why

Gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free choices you make in our quiz or plan, and any allergy, intolerance or health need you write in a note about your week. We use them only to choose dinners for your plan, including each new weekly plan if you subscribe. We don't use them for advertising, and we don't sell them.

Where it comes from

Only from you, when you answer our quiz, change your plan or write a note.

Consumer health data we share

We don't share it with third parties or affiliates. Two service providers process it for us, only on our instructions and only to provide Dinner Plan: Cloudflare (runs our website and server) and Anthropic (reads your note to turn it into plan settings). With your payment, Stripe and Link hold an encrypted reference to your plan that they can't read.

Your rights

You can (1) confirm whether we collect or share your consumer health data and get a copy of it, together with a list of any third parties and affiliates we've shared it with; (2) withdraw your consent, with "Stop using my health-related answers" on your plan page or by email; and (3) have it deleted. When we delete it, we also tell our service providers to delete it. To make a request, email hello@escapeplan.software from the address you paid with, or with your plan link; we may ask for a little more information to confirm it's you. You don't need an account. We reply within 45 days (we may extend this once by 45 days and will tell you why). Requests are free up to twice a year.

Appeals

If we refuse a request, reply to our answer within 45 days to appeal. We'll tell you in writing within 45 days what we did and why. If we still refuse, you can contact your state Attorney General: Washington (atg.wa.gov/file-complaint) or Nevada (ag.nv.gov).
